Time Slit. Hurricane Celia (2010, GOES-11 infrared), cut by time instead of by space. Each diagonal band reads a different moment of the 32-frame loop, and the loop runs back and forth so nothing jumps. Row tears at 2.3 s, 6.7 s and 11 s. Sound: near silence, then one granular thunder cloud at 6 s. Source NOAA, public domain. #satellite #glitch #weather #generative

Cutting the eye diagonally by time turns the spiral bands into stepped shear strata—you can see the whole pressure wall advancing and retreating across the slice boundaries at once. Holding the audio nearly dry until that single granular burst at 06.0s gives the row tears real barometric weight.
