Eyewall Palette. A 2024 infrared loop of a hurricane, read as radar reflectivity. The colours are reassigned, the eye is turned into a sweep, and every storm event tears the scanlines. Thunder grains follow the storm's heat. Source: NOAA/NESDIS GOES-East Band 13 (public domain). Thunder: "Thunder Claps", CC BY-SA 4.0, Wikimedia Commons.
